- Page Titles
Your page titles are one of the most important SEO factors on your site. Each of your pages & posts should have its own unique title, which includes the main keywords for that page.
For example: IF you are posting a blog about the plumbing Company, then you should try the keywords as the Top Plumbing Company, Cheap Plumbing Company and so on.
This way, whenever someone searches for plumbing company in a search engine, your post has a better chance of showing up because you have included those keywords.
- Meta Descriptions
Meta description plays a vital role for the higher ranking in Search engine. As the meta description should be able to provide detailed information about the site. Many people forget to include meta descriptions for their pages. These descriptions are an important place to include relevant keywords for your content, as these are used within the search results when your page is listed.
For instance, if we continue to use the ‘Cheap Plumbing Company’ example, then a good meta description for that page would include those keywords and related ones. Search Engine will show the result considering this meta description. This will probably increase the ranking.
- HX (Heading) Tags
Use HX tags with each of your main article headings / sections. Use h1 for the main headings and the rest in h2, h3, h4 and so on. Try use your keywords in the headings and highlight them in the eye of search engines with these HX tags. So, that search engine like google will feel that that highlighted keywords are extremely important in your website.
- Images with ALT and title tags
Optimize each image with ALT and Title tags. Image name can also be optimized; try to use the keywords smartly within the tags as well.
- URL Structure
Including search engine friendly URLs for each of your pages is highly recommended, as these bring better crawling. Shorter URLs seem to perform better in search engine results, however that is not the only factor.
URLs that include targeted keywords have higher performance. The location of these keywords can also be a major influence.
- Quality of Content
All we know is that “Content is King” in the SEO industry. Thus we should try to write the high quality of content. Quality of content will significantly improve the ranking of site. Each page should have a minimum of 500 words of great quality content.
- Use relevant Keyword with Density
We should use the relevant keywords as per the demand of the customer and choice. Including relevant keywords throughout your content is very important, as it helps search engines work out what your content is about. However, try not to excessively repeat and overuse keywords just for search engine robots. This can lead to your site being banned from search engines.
In WORRDPRESS design we can use the keyword density maximum 8 times i.e. 2-5%. If you find this hard, get out a thesaurus and broaden your writing vocabulary. This way, you are still writing about the same thing, without risk of being banned.
- XML SiteMap
Create xml sitemap and add each of your website in it. You can submit to sitemap in Google and Bing webmaster tools to make your website index soon. For on-page SEO to setup sitemap is essential.

Add and verify the ownership of your websites via Google Webmaster Tools. These webmaster tools will also help to analyze the on-page validations.
Similarly, add and setup the analytics code so you can properly analyze your website.

Search engine like Google, Bing, etc. loves the sites that is quickly responsive. Similarly, people also feel tired to see your webpages. So, we should make the site which quickly loads and show the result.
